Alpe D'Huez - Part Two - The abundance of snot

So. Sick. I think I'm dying. This is the worst cold since the last one I had. No really, I'm dying.

The boys went for a ride today, and I stayed in the van, in the sleeping bag, watching tv on my laptop and reading my book. Since deciding to come on this trip the boys have all been excited about riding the mountains, and Alpe D'Huez is one of the more prestigious. Which is lucky, because we're parked at the top, and they have to ride it if they want to get home :). I think it took a little out of them too, because they were all freezing and starving when they came back. With 21 switchbacks and a climb of about 1150m at an average of about 7.5%, that's understandable!

After the best showers we could manage (which involved a quick bathe with some boiling water from the stove before a minute or two in the bathroom to do the rest and rinse off), we met up with Gwynne, who was camping in a tent near the lake, and headed off to find some dinner.
