Vandelism is fun!

After buying a 10L bucket of white paint and some rollers a couple of weeks ago, the boys decided that today was the day we would paint the road with our heartfelt messages of support. We were staying a couple of kilometres up the Luz-Ardiden climb, so we walked a couple more up the hill and set to work.

We waited until it was dark, and then found a small straight stretch between a rock wall and a steep drop – super safe when all the media trucks are trying to make it past to set up at the top. We'd heard that writing on the mountains was fine, as long as you weren't doing it in the middle of a town, but it still felt kind of naughty until the Police drove past twice and didn't even slow down.

We painted about 50m or so of road – lots of 'Go Cadel's, 'Team Aero's, a Vino with a sad face (Graham thought it was too soon to have an arrow pointing to the large ditch) and a couple of Graham's friends names that he had promised some advertising.

Lots of fun! :)
